okay, so hypothetically…say you were getting ready to go on a vacation… So as the FEMALE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD you make arrangements for the pets, have the mail delivery stopped or a neighbor to pick it up for you. Stop the paper delivery. Make sure the clothes are all washed that need to be packed. If you’re not taking the kids with you :mrgreen: you make arrangements for them. Write out where you will be, emergency phone numbers. Flights and hotels. Kids schedules, who needs to be where and when. School, sports, doctor’s phone #’s. You find the suitcases and drag them upstairs from where they were HIDDEN. Make sure food that spoils in thrown out or in the freezer. Make sure no stinky trash is left in the kitchen :smile: Things are unplugged that should be like the coffee maker. Thermostat set to the right temperature. Computers booted down (is that really a term?) If someone is coming IN to watch the pets you think about mopping the kitchen floor because the plant has spilled dirt on the floor ..no mom, I didn’t do it…and there is a suspicious yellow spot that everyone swears is NOT dog pee because yes they really did let the dog out when he was whining.

MALE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD: he throws a few things in a suitcase 30 minutes before time to leave. (after asking where is my X, I can’t find my Y…and my personal favorite…where did YOU put my Z?? )

And wonders why you are stressed…

So I started out googling on blogskins. And in the course of following a bunch of links I ending up finding out that lefties are more likely “to be schizophrenic, alcoholic, delinquent, dyslexic, and have Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as mental disabilities. They’re also more likely to die young and get into accidents” Wow, that’s depressing. I’m glad I only have one child who is a leftie…

But seriously, how does this happen?? You start trying to find out info on one subject…and end up in another whole universe. And what in the world does being lefthanded have to do with skinning your blog??:?::?:
