okay, so I google everything. It amazes me what you can find out with a quick google search. There is even a Google Blog about all things Google.

And this is cool. The most searched terms for 2004 (and past years) according to Google. Hm, top googled public figures…Janet Jackson is #2 on that list

There is a ToolBar you can add to Internet Explorer so Google is just right there to type your searches into. (as an aside, it has an included pop up blocker which works pretty well)

And soon there will be Google Video. It’s in beta now, but they are indexing transcripts from recent TV programs. “It’s just an early-stage beta product at this point; you’ll only see stills and text snippets from shows that match your search terms, and you can only search shows from a few channels, dating back to December, 2004, when we started compiling the index” according to Google.

I love reading the comments on blogs. I know, I’m easily amused.

I hate it when the blogger has comments turned off. Or you have to be a member of that blog platform to post comments. I know there is the whole spam thing, but still, if I can’t play, I don’t go back.

I really like it when the person who blogs goes back and responds to the comments. It makes it feel like a really community thing going on.

But one thing I hate about comments I feel like if I miss reading somone’s entry one day, and a new post is up, it’s too late to make a comment on the old post. I feel like I missed out! I hate being left out of anything!!:mrgreen:

okay, blog names interest me. How and why people come up with them. This site lists most used words in blog names. Scroll down to see the top 100 words. Interesting.

Blog, of course, was the word most used. I found it interesting that “girl” was the 11th most used word. 15th -20th most used words included diary, musings, and ramblings.

then there are blog names that do a good job describing what they are about:
