I should have been a geek

So I’ve been working on the main page of this site for the last few days. I really should have been a geek. Now, it’s not there yet, but it’s getting there. I decided to use Wordpress for the main site too…so I still need to figure out how to do another install of it using the same database. I modified the heck out of it so it won’t look bloggy. (I’m SURE that’s a word. Positive). Planning on having links to craft articles…but with a brief “review” of the article. I’m going to do an author blog spotlight to highlight some great writer blogs out there. And more I’ll post here when I get it uploaded, so stay tuned!

yes, I am banging my head against the wall. But I’m learning a lot. With my HTML and CSS book beside me. And I need a bang your head against the wall smilie. I sure could have used it yesterday.

I also planned the whole thing around one graphic…and then decided I didn’t like the graphic at some of the monitor resolutions. It was a vector illustration…and looked too dotty at 800×600 So I started over…

Kacy I can’t wait either….I’ve thought about modifying wordpress to use on the rest of my own site as well, so I can’t wait to see how it all works out
