Summer Lazy Days

by Kacey on 6/11/2005

Okay, I don’t know where the Lazy Days of Summer are…our work has its busiest time in the summer :mad2: But we are taking a long weekend to the lake today. With eleventy million boys ages 15 and up… :crazy2: So while they’ll all call it VACATION, I’ll just call it vacation. a trip.

Oh it will be fun, but they’ll be lots of cooking and running to the grocery store depending on how many males show up each day. A handful of friends of one of my college kids will be down on Saturday, another handful on Sunday…of course I don’t know how many. That would require 20 year old males to actually plan in advance!

The good thing is they have a Panera Bread Company there with free wireless, so I plan on going out to pick up bagels for everyone each morning. (out of the goodness of my heart  don’t you know) Okay,so I need my email and blog fix each day :coffee: I’m also bringing two books, so I hope to hide out and read some. :book: Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE spending time with the boys. They are just so, I don’t know, MALE when there are so many of them.

Though I’m thinking our house sitter/pet sitter is going to have this blissfully peaceful 4 days here at the house…

Sigh, that sounds wonderful. I haven’t been out of this mauseleum of a house of mine for so long….

I so understand the need for your e-mail! This latest camping trip I took had nothing. But the hotel last year had a full business center, and I was able to check my e-mail daily. Something the dh, sadly doesn’t understand, but puts up with!

Havea great time!

Oh boy, no pun intended. Sounds like you’ll have your hands full with males. Thank god for Panera! Have fun though, a weekend away sounds heavenly!

Just thinking about that many people in a house at one times makes me exhausted! :coffee:

I’m glad you can escape to Panera’s every day!

Wow!
Um. Yeah. Let’s pipe down the testesterone.
You’re going to need a snorkel.
Enjoy your time at Panera and enjoy the books. Keep the boys stocked in food, and they won’t need to find you.
