Writing Immersion Weekend

by Kay~Kacey on 6/30/2005

Well one more day of the pesky day job, then I have a 4 day weekend coming up  and more  I plan on doing an all out writing immersion weekend. I really want another proposal finished and out the door. I’m going to see how far I can get on it this weekend. I’m on fear of second chapter now…after rewriting chapter one who knows how many times. I can see the next chapter in my head though, and know the hook that chapter three ends on…so I’m getting there.

Then I’m going to order my business cards. I have them all set up to go at vista print, just have to order them. After I proof them for the hundred bazillionth time…to check for typos. 🙄 They are so cool  If you see me in Reno, be sure and ask for one ! And the tagline I decided on –though Amy’s relationshipy romance ™ was a close second choice  is……drum roll :secret: “What would your heart risk for love?”

Then, following along in the footsteps of the writeminded crowd, and the aforementioned AMY of the taglines I bought the domain www.wineonthekeyboard.com . So now you can get to my blog from that link, or the old one. I just decided to I wanted to put the easier to remember Vist my Blog! www. wineonthekeyboard .com on my cards. Your old links will work too though, so you don’t have to worry about changing them.

And I did update my WordPress with the new security patch last night. Let me know if anything isn’t working for you. Well, that’s my rambling post for this morning. Must grab more coffee :coffee: and get moving so my boss (I work in my dh’s office) doesn’t fire me… Though, I can always threaten to quit :biteme:

Have a great time at your writing immersion! I’m going out of town so I’ll have to get caught up on writing afterwards. 🙂

Good luck with the writing immersion!

Have fun with your immersion weekend. I’ll be out most of the weekend, otherwise I’d join you.

Hi Kacey,
I ordered my cards through vista too and I love them! I went with the tag line “take a trip through time”. Oddly enough, the color of the biz cards ended up matching my website perfectly!

Hope you have a very productive weekend, Kacey! I doubt I’ll get much done, but you never know. While the kids and hubby are splashing in the hotel pool, I just might sit and write.:typing:

I love that tagline, Kacey! It rocks! And thank you for reminding me about the biz cards, I designed them, but I am so not prepared. I’m still worried about clothes, I seriously have NONE for biz cas. Knowing me, everything will be done last minute. *sigh*

Good luck with immersing yourself! Is this the Next proposal? Have you bought any of the ones out? I want to. Hmmm….I have a Borders coupon….

Ah, blog corruption, I love it. Now I have to go shop. :cool2:

Oh, and I like your slogan! I think I’m going sloganless this year. Hope I don’t feel too naked. :crazy2:

This is the first year I put a tagline on my cards. I just did it …because :crazy2:

okay, I proofed those suckers a bazillion times, and I ordered them. Now I can’t wait for them to get here. I’m such a baby about waiting for my new toys 😆

The four-day immersion weekend sounds great — wish I could do set up this weekend to do that. Alas, I’m trying to get the house in order so I can re-do the office, and that takes a certain amount of priority.

Have a great time and get a lot of writing done.
