I’m actually stressing a lot right now. But this is one reason I started my body of work. It’s so I know what I’m working on and at what stage every one of my projects are at. I want to have a steady stream of work in progresses in different stages so that I can make this my career. It’s past time for that for me.

So I guess I should stop procrastinating this afternoon and get busy editing huh.:typing:

Rene, I tried that FlyLady thing. She drove me nuts.

Suzanne, isn’t the waking up and immediately stressing thing horrible?? Which is why I’m determined to get things under control around here. (QUIT LAUGHING!)

StephT- Suzanne’s blog post was great, wasn’t it? The set office hours thing is a good idea. I don’t know why we always think, I’ll do this and this so I’ll have more time to write. Then BAM the time is gone and there’s no writing.

and I quesss??? I feel better that most of you aren’t organized either???

What really hit home for me from Suzanne’s post was when she talked about making office hours. I waste so much time trying to get everything done so I can have free time to write, when really, I should just write and then take care of all the other stuff when I’m done. Because it’s ALWAYS going to be there.

I’m totally getting ready to set some office hours.

Hey, I like that link thing… going to see if I can use his ideas too.

I tried flylady… and I’m still on the list. I use it for cleaning guidelines, but I’ve never been able to get myself to do the whole system. Yep, I fight conformity on everything.

I have all these ideas on getting organized, but half of them don’t last longer than a week before they get tossed out the window. However, I am probably the most disorganized organized person. People tell me this all the time. My office is also my bedroom. Living in a two bedroom apartment makes it that way. People walk into my bedroom, and ask me how I can find anything. I just can. However, I’ve seem to lost one of my CD cases because a few of my favorite CD’s have gone missing! SIGH!

I LOVE getting organized. I love buying folders and notebooks and new calendars and corkboards and wipeboards, etc. I’m a crazy list maker.

None of it really helps me.

I’m the kind of person that writes something down AFTER it’s done, just so I can cross it off my list.

I guess what I’m saying is that when it comes to organization, I’m no help at all.
