It's pure torture. I can get it to sound right in my head but when I try to write it out, it gets all jumbled and discombobulated. It comes in fits and jerks. Right now, the only thing I follow is "Desperate Housewives" and "The Sopranos." Writing is in fits and jerks. Some days are better than others. Mentally, it is a challenge writing a historical not only because the work itself requires a different thought process but the difficulty of selling in the historical market is so daunting.
