Ardent April

by Kay~Kacey on 4/2/2006

Yes, it’s name that month time again! And we’re starting Ardent April “characterized by eager zealous support or activity”.

I get this way in spring. Things are greening up. The days warm. The daffodils and hyacinths bloom. My forsythia bush actually bloomed this year after struggling along for the last 5 years. Everything is bursting to life.

I seem to jump back into writing with both feet in the spring. It’s as if the rebirth of everything fuels my creativity.

Okay, it doesn’t hurt that I just got back from the PERFECT vacation in Gulf Shores. Great weather. Lots of laughing with the kids. Sun. Beach walking. I mean, how can you not feel connected and alive staring out into the ocean?

Did some great brainstorming while taking long beach walks. I’m smack in the middle of juggling two proposals at once. When I get those nailed down, I just might work on a mainstream proposal.

I love spring!

So what are you going to do with your Ardent April??

I hope I do better with Ardent April. I pretty much sucked at ME ME ME March. 🙄

I’m going to do a WAMAYC (Write As Much As You Can) week during my Spring Break. Can’t wait! 😀

I’m excited about my Ardent April and making more progress on my writing. March was a harsh month for us with the flu, and cold, cold, weather. I’m ready for spring!

Hi Kacey – Happy Spring  Way cool about the forsythia blooming. Glad you had fun at the Gulf Shore and got some brainstorming accomplished. Good luck with those proposals 😀

I have got to get my act together. I feel like things (including my writing) are falling apart at the seams, so I’m focusing on following a plan whether it is writing, housecleaning or just getting through the day. I’m too flighty to make it without a written out plan.

Glad you had a nice vacation, Kacey! I just plan to write, write, write! My RWA chapter is doing a BIAW this month, too!!!

I’m requesting more frequent blog posts from you!

Oh, and fighting with a deadlining ms. :cursing:

Good luck on your two proposals! (You need the cheerleading smiley here.)
