Yes, summer is ending. Now it’s time to settle back down into the routine. I’m ready for it. We’ve been crazy busy this summer and work is always nuts in the summer. One more week of that, and it will settle down too.
Time to get crackin’ with my writing. Again. Always. But for some reason the end of summer/beginning of fall is like the New Year for me. Time to make new goals. Push myself. Get back into the routine.
I’ve also discovered two new great resources. RWA Online a great online chapter. With FORUMS! instead of an email loop. They have some of the BEST workshops archived on there. And free to members.
Also…Romance Divas has a great forum. They also have some great workshops.
So, do you frequent any writer forums?
I don’t frequent any forums, not even my own chapter’s. I find most of them too clunky to navigate easily. Plus, I can’t visit them at work. I CAN collect my e-mail groups messages and read them at lunch break.
I visit some loops, though less now than earlier. It feels good to belong to a community of friends who understand you, can offer hugs, congrats, or an advice when you need them!
I’ve been going to romance central forums (I apologize if this doesn’t take as html).
Anyway, I’ve been going there for years, long before I joined RWA. I’m there so much I’m now an administrator. I also run workshops there too.
Not currently. Have considered joining RWA Online, though. Just have done it yet. Maybe I’ll think again 🙂 Of course, I should be :typing: working on the latest version of my synopsis, instead of reading your blog
