My nickname Kat came about because i told my gran that i didn't like the name Amy so she took Cat from my middle Catherine and swapped the C for a K and Voila. somehow she managed to convince the rest of my family to call me that and eventually my friends caught on and now i go by Kat i also get called KK becuase my last name starts with a K. My name is Amy but i’ve never really liked it because all the nicknames for it aren’t very good.
