i once watched a male cardinal
place a seed into the female’s mouth…
the tenderness melted my heart.

speaking of which,
i tried your cheese trick
and
the cheese *doesn’t* stick to the top of the grill
if you let it crunch up!
go figure…

Tori Lennox February 24, 2008 at 12:26 pm: I miss my cardinals. They all hang out on the other side of the house these days, thanks to the stupid cats in our neighborhood. They killed a bunch of birds on the side of the house where my bedroom is and now the birds don’t hang out there.
