I too am staying in lack-of-broadband purgatory. I’m in Chicago to be w/my m-i-l who’s in the hospital (story on the chronicler). I get wireless here with ease thanks to the complimentary hospital policy (THANK you Alexian Brothers!). At her home there are 6 wireless connections….5 with passwords and I guess the 6th one is a phantom because try as I might, cannot get on it! DANGIT!
You don’t know how much you miss something until you can’t have it. (sigh)

I, too, cannot believe the phone company is making you wait. Why, it’s unheard of!

The wireless problem sounds suckilicious, but at least you’re on the beach and the weather is excellent and you’re taking pics for us to look at, green with jealousy, back here in the cold!

yes, I’m supposed to sit around in the house for days waiting for that phone company… Like that is going to happen. So I sit out in the mini van. Sideways in the front seat. Ah well. That sure is frustrating. The beach we go to doesn’t even have wireless to borrow. But, a few of the coffee shops added it free last year, so hopefully we will be connected this year. Hope you are enjoying the beach!
