Does any one know were I can buy one… I had one but my mom desided to clean up(btw i spent like 5 years trying to remember the name kept calling it lee-lo and no one knew what I was talking about)

TOO FUNNY! My cousins and I were trying to remember the name of this toy last night, we were all on hunt today and my cousin found it, along with a bunch of other cool vintage toys. Thanks for posting this!

I never had a Whee-lo, but I always wanted one. My husband had one–indulged child! I had Creepy Crawlers, though. I made so many bugs! And that satisfying hiss as the hot plate hit the water. Mine had a bonus–a short to the metal case, so I got shocked when I touched it…good times.

Oh, yeah. Slinkies and etch-a-sketch. The Photography One has an tiny etch a sketch as a desk toy…

My boys were way into legos as boys. We had castle guys and space ship guys. We…oops, I mean THEY would spend hours creating big towns of castles and space stations.

I had one as a kid! Not sure if it was the “Whee-lo” brand, but I had a toy like that.

And Lincoln Logs, and Tinker Toys and Lawn Darts.

Now my kids have things like K’Nex (loads of fun, btw) and Legos and video games.
