More Road Trip
by KaceySo we managed to have lots of fun while on our road trip. As is our wont. (sorry, stuck on that word now…)

So we went to Deep Canyon. Only when I googled it, there was no such thing.
I guess that’s just what the Texas boys call Palo Duro Canyon. Which is supposedly the second largest canyon in the US. (length not width.) It was pretty amazing. You drive through flat, flat ranch land, then, bang, drop down in the canyon.
Notice these two are pointing. Someone is ALWAYS pointing in my pictures.

I corralled (hey, I was in Texas y’all) all the boys for a group photo op. Always looking for the perfect picture for the Christmas card, don’t you know.

I spent a good amount of time taking pictures. (oops, saved this picture too small. Oh well.)

SuperGuy spent a good amount of time finally getting to take pictures with his own camera. He’s full sized here too…

The boys spent a good amount of time standing on the ledge of the canyon to give me heart attacks…

And because boys will be boys they managed to have a ball along on the trip and played some hacky sack.

I’d like to say we were this close to this big horn sheep. Unfortunately the poor sheep is dead and stuffed. The boys had a field day taking pictures of this sheep though…unfortunately none of the pictures are fit for a family blog…
It’s always amusing seeing the ways the boys will come up with to entertain themselves. Like when we went hiking down in the canyon….ah, but that’s for tomorrow’s post…

Ha! Great pictures…but I want the censored ones. Please?
Grest photos. Great memories. Cute dog.
Can’t wait till tomorrow!
You all know how to have FUN!
More great pictures! I’ve never seen Palo Duro Canyon which now annoys me beyond belief.
But where did the dog come from???
You look like you’re having so much fun!!!
Looks like a lot of fun. I love family time.
Great shots! Looks like ya’ll are having alot of fun!
Looks like a great trip! And what boys they are! I think I’d like to keep mine from growing up, thank you.
You look like you’re having so much fun! And the boys look like they’re having a blast! It must be nice to travel with all your kids and not have the “Moooooom, he’s touching me!” shriek coming from the backseat.
Sigh. Someday.
Were those sheep local to the place?
Canyons must make for breathtalking views.
I have no idea if those sheep are local or not. I assume so, but we never saw any real ones.
