For those who doubted me.
For those who just outright didn’t believe me.
For those who believe I am NOT a strong person…
Proof of my honesty:
See?? I did actually give the macro lens to The Photography One after testing it for him like a good mother should. Look what he’s trying it out on! I’m so proud of him! Like mother, like son  He also got some disgusting closeups of bugs. Found around our apartment. I was not amused…
Later that night, after the shoe incident, I captured this photo of The Geeky One and The Photography One deep in conversation on the deck. This apartment is in an awesome location for sunset photos. What more do you look for in an apartment?? 😉 I notice a lot of my decisions these days revolve around how it affects my photography.
Just in case you are interested Kacey – I found a couple of 60mm macros lenses for under $250 on eBay – they were used, but I have bought used lenses before with no problem. And congratulations on your strength of will in giving him the lens!
I love the sunset picture!
Just like a man to take a closeup of a beer bottle! 😉
My entire family is gathering in Columbia last week of July/first week of August. Hope we have some decent weather and it’s not hotter than the hounds of hell. Whatever, I can hardly wait!! Maybe our paths will cross!
So when are you getting your own macro lens?
LOL on making decision based on how it affects your photography! I make housing decisions based on what I have to look at while drinking my morning coffee!
Or my evening coffee (with just a touch of Irish in it 🙂 )
Love the sunset picture.
Suzanne’s right. When are YOU getting a Macro Lens?
Oh, Super Guy? Kacey needs her a Macro Lens….
My whole life seems to revolve around -Can I catch it on the camera?- lately! I love the pic of your sons though. The silhouettes against the beautiful sunset is great. You are a good mom for trying out the lens first. You had to know that it would work! hehe
That second photo is fabulous.
Definitely envy here,
Bear((( )))
