All Season Shoes

by Kay~Kacey on 11/12/2008

So, as I said on Monday, my back was out last week. Didn’t do much. Like didn’t even bother to put my shoes away in the closet. Imagine my surprise when I finally started cleaning up the mess that was last week. I saw this:

shoes for all seasons

I went from barefoot in November, to sandals, to crocs…to my lined winter crocs. All in a span of like 3 days. This kind of weather makes my head spin. :crazy2: Last week I wore shorts, today I wore my heavy long sweater coat. I’m thinking our long, lingering summer weather just might be over. SuperGuy said he saw snowflakes in the sky this last weekend. I just went la-la-la-la and didn’t listen to him. Think maybe he was lying to me??? 😯

I think he was telling you the truth! I’m sorry about your back, Kacey, and hope you’re feeling better this week.

It’s cold here in Maryland, too. I’m wearing my new coat today.

I’m right there with you on that! I can’t seem to keep warm! :coffee2:

Sorry! I don’t think he was lying. We’ve had flurries here too…before Halloween, which is a record, I think! Well, let’s all just settle in for the long winter and keep each other warm with our sweet comments!

I hope your back is feeling better. I think SuperGuy was telling the truth. We saw some snowflakes here a week or so ago. I know I’m nuts, but I’m actually looking forward to a snowfall. I don’t know what’s gotten into me!

please accept my apology, i know we have just met, but i have mismanaged my time this morning due to the cruising of your blog. i like it. similar to my own. our own actually, i blog with my sister. both of us boomers, with wine on our keyboard, with men we met later in life for a variety of reasons, and both with a notebook fetish and photography addictions. and what’s that word, stereotypical?

Funny! My kids said all my shoes are square. (that’s because they don’t hurt my feet. Crocs Rock!

We’re slowly moving toward winter here. Every single tree in our back yard very suddenly up and dropped their leaves. It looked like we didn’t even have a driveway. I wonder if those trees know somethin’ they’re not sharing with me……

At least you don’t live in Deadwood, South Dakota, where they already got 4 feet of snow!

Kacey November 12, 2008 at 10:53 am

Melissa…I’m not sure I could make myself live in a place called Deadwood!

Annie…yep, the leaves are dropping quickly here too.

Margie! Glad you found me. Hopped over to you blog and I LOVE it. Added it to my feedreader.

I’m at work, with my slippers on. My feet are c-c-cold!

I am so over winter and it hasn’t really even started yet. I want to be independently wealthy so I can spend my winters in a warm locale.

It’s going to be 75 in Tucson today.

The problem?

I don’t live in Tucson. I live in the Pacific NW where in the space of 24 hours we got 2 inches of rain.

Is it summer yet?

Rene November 12, 2008 at 12:26 pm

well, not quite the same problem here, although I think I’m going to invest in some lined Crocs this winter. My hubby loves his crocs and I think lined ones would make a good Christmas present.

I have a feeling we will be hitting cold weather this year, but it usually doesn’t come until after Christmas.

I see my sister, Margie, has already commented. She has sent me a link to your site and now I see that I shall be spending the evening tonight purusing your blog!

The BF told me to look out the window because it was snowing. I told him it was just a lot of dust in the air. Its possble I may be in denial.
