Okay, I’m all for early Christmas presents. I guess The Geeky One is too. He bought The Adorable Girlfriend her Christmas present. Early. This adorable green Coach purse.
But then he said she couldn’t have it until Christmas. They argued about it. They discussed it rationally. I think she was afraid to take it off of her arm. She even helped me do the dishes…with her new Coach purse firmly on her arm…
She finally convinced The Geeky One to let her keep it, even though it’s not Christmas yet by this argument:
The Adorable Girlfriend: “But all my things are already inside the purse.”
The Geeky One: “Take them out.”
The Adorable Girlfriend: “So you’re saying that the next time I buy you a video game for a present…you’ll have to actually wait until your birthday, or Christmas, or whatever the occasion is…instead of playing it right away as soon as I buy it for you.”
The Geeky One: “That purse looks great on you. You should go ahead and use it now. No need to wait for Christmas…” :rofl:
