Well, it’s a good thing that SuperGuy filled the bird feeders. We keep getting hammered with sleet, ice, and snow.

I’m a bit irritated that the big, fluffy flakes of snow only seem to fall at night. I’m wanting to have them fall during the day so I can get a good shot of them with the animals…

The birds are very patient though…

…they wait their turn

…they share their perch
…waiting patiently for these males to SHARE THE BIRDFEEDER with them. Sorry. Didn’t mean to yell. But, really, don’t these guys realize there is a lineup to get to the feeder??

(Don’t forget about January’s Photo of the Month contest! The theme this month is COLD. In a very loose sense of the word. Send me a link to your entry. Time is running out!)

Great shots, Kasey!
Don’t tell me the “Me First Syndrome” has migrated to the birds, too. Sheesh!
Those cardinal husbands are not being very polite;) Somebody’s missus is waiting rather patiently. Isn’t that always the way?;)
Brrrr…I had to feed the birdies today too. We have snow and ice for once!
Our birds have been very happy around here. I have been throwing out leftover banana nut bread, blueberry muffins and more. I think I am spoiling them.
I always like to judge the amount of snow from how high it gets on the deck railing. Looks like you got a bunch. That’s a technical term.
Clearly there is a need for a girl’s only feeder. Because men are clueless.

that was a joke, OK?

Okay, one more time. These birds must be frozen? How do you get them to pose. No matter how slow I open the door they all fly off. I even lock my poochies in. Help!!!
Mary!! LOL, you crack me up. Though I’m thinking a female feeder is JUST what we need! Those males are piggos!
Chere…I shot these through the window of my office. I keep it really clean and removed the screen. That way I can “sneak” up on them.
That first photo was taken in Connecticut, right??? Just what we’ve looked like lately, too. Ugh!
Your bird pics are so so much better than mine. I’m envious!
That’s just what it looks like here!!!!
Looks pretty cold there. And you have some very polite birds.
