Yes, it’s spring break…and you know what that means. Slave labor Cheerful helpers around for the big kitchen makeover.

I love having a house full of males. There were draw pulls to be removed, door handles to be wrestled.

Doors to be taken off, painted, and put back up.
Life lessons to be learned…

“Hey, if we wash our hands before we rehang the doors, we won’t get these black fingerprints all over the freshly painted doors.”

What, you thought I organize my cabinets? Are you nuts? And these ARE my organized ones! Wonder how long until I get cabinet doors back up?

Ah, nothing like living around a torn up kitchen for weeks on end… Notice the Sesame Street sheet drop cloth!!
Anyway, it looks like it’s going to be a busy week around here!

Oh yay, the boys are home!!!
They should have that knocked out this week and cabinets will have doors again and the walls will all be pretty and the knobs back on and pretty, pretty all around!
Just stay outta the way — supervise from a distance
btw – i love that red stool, yellow stool ?, and green chairs…. how fun?
At least it will be full of chaotic noise and cheer! And things will get finished more quickly, for sure.
Crack the whip!
I need some slave labour / cheerful helpers to get things done around my house!
Nothing like that free slave labor with your kids. Not sure around here it’s worth it though to hear them whining while laboring away.
food is the way to a man’s heart…and fuels the activity. make em something delicidous to get them movin’!
You are one lucky woman. Anytime I mention the word ‘paint’ or ‘spring cleaning’, the men scatter like ants.
You knew that Sesame Street sheet would be good for something eventually!
It’s taken a year and two months to have our whole house remodeled. But we started with the kitchen last January. Thankfully, it is pretty much a complete home now. I wish you luck and sanity during the process!
