SuperGuy and I like to get up and have a cup of coffee…or two…before we jump into our day. We sit out in my office and watch the world wake up. Which often leads into a breakfast shootout. Competition is ugly in the morning… (Do NOT ask why we were not in the kitchen painting. Do. Not. Ask.) 
Instead of working on the kitchen, we procrastinated took a well deserved early morning break.
We watched the morning sun come up and kiss the tulips.
We watched the redbud blossoms slowly drift to the ground in the gentle breeze.
We watched the birds wake up and and head for their morning breakfast.
A very pleasant morning. Though, eventually, we did wander back into our prison kitchen.

That is the best way to wake up with your spouse. Well maybe the second best way.
I love the suet feeder attached to the birdhouse. Great idea. I have to get a new one. Can you believe someone had the nerve to steal mine?
As long as they are feeding the birds I guess I can handle it.
We have the same woodpecker here! You all are slightly ahead of us for spring. *sigh*
