The Project that Never Ends

by Kay~Kacey on 5/27/2009

Really, do home improvement projects ever end? Remember the kitchen remodeling we were/are doing? Um, back in March?

Well, we moved a lot of the crap, stuff, junk, things from the kitchen to the dining room. Now it’s the end of May…

Here is my dining room. Sigh. Still a big old mess. Extra chairs. Old cookie jars and vases I’m going to give away. A laundry basket full of who knows what.

I’m SO going to tackle this job and take back the dining. I am. Honest. I’m going to go right now and get a cup of coffee and stare at the room and see if that helps. Or maybe stare at it with some wine tonight…

That is a mess to you? OMGoodness…to have a table I can actually see part of…how I am envious.

Don’t let it stress you out…house work is endless, life isn’t!

Peace and Blessings!

i have a basement a hundred times worse and that’s what I do – just stare. it never works and i walk away. one of these days i’ll tackle it full force. in fact that’s what i should put T to work doing over the summer. sounds good to me.

I wish my dining room had just that amount of mess . . . all these projects take forever to finish, don’t they? And it always seems to be one thing is stalled, waiting for something else to be done, so we can do something else before we deal with this or that part of the mess. Or maybe that’s just the rationalizations of a disorganized mind . . .

I’d just move it all to another room.

But that’s just me.

Oh, yes. A must to tackle with wine. And some cheese.

I love the colors in this room, the purple has such personality!

My dining room looks just like yours and I have absolutely no excuse for it. None. Zero. Ziltch. I think I’ll join MPM with a glass of wine. Things always seem better after a glass of wine. (sigh)
