You know our weekend of puttering and getting things finished? Yes, well. The best of intentions. SuperGuy got two books read. I did a lot of photography reading on off camera flash. I did manage to buy new sheets and bedspread for the boys’ room turned guest room. Um…I’m sure something else was done this weekend.
Oh, Yes!
SuperGuy cleaned the carpets. Well, spot cleaned them. That should count. I pointed out the spots! I helped!!
A business brunch and a family BBQ on Sunday. That was it. We had very good intentions of getting a whole heck of a lot accomplished on our 3 days off. Ever have weekends like that? When you vow to get a whole big ‘ol list of to dos finished? Ah, well. There’s always next weekend…
That sounds a lot like most of my weekends… good intentions, but something always gets in the way!
Yuppers ~~ good intentions! The weeds are still in the garden, but I did get to see the lovely hot air balloon!
My husband spot cleaned our carpet this weekend, too! We didn’t accomplish much else. For me, every day is a full list of things to do and a lot of good intentions. I take the Scarlett O’Hara approach, “Tomorrah is anotha day.”
But brunch and BBQ and shopping for sheets and cleaning the carpet sound like a full weekend to me. Good job!
For me, it is hard to get motivated when it is dreary outside… I had a huge list of “to do” for this last weekend, however with the rain, I slept in, and then sat around all day…
Must be the time of year. I did get 3 pea plants planted. Took 15 minutes. Had to rest for the rest of the weekend. It was exhausting!
I steamed my carpets a few weeks back. I’m in love with my steamer. It saves me a lot of frustration. Mostly caused by the husband, son and dog.
