Actually, I cheated and used a Pillsbury crust... my bad. I love to bake bread, but I'm trying not to eat bread, so... I have made bagels from scratch, and also Danish pastries, but that was years ago. I can't seem to make it but not eat it! But, my absolute favorite is baking bread and hand kneading it. Such therapy for whatever ails you, or if no ailment, just the pleasure of the rhythm of the back and forth, flipping and turning.
