True Confessions…as opposed to false confessions, I guess… 🙄
I’m a bit obsessive about germs. Not over the top obsessive, but a bit. I have hand sanitizer by my kitchen sink. Now, that’s a nice normal place to have it, right? I have been know to yell suggest to the boys to use it before digging into the ice cubes or setting the table or handling food. That’s not bad, right?
Some in the bathroom.
Okay, and some in my cute and adorable summer Coach purse. I mean, there are germs out there people! I’ve been known to use sanitizer wipes in hotel rooms on door knobs, the phone, and the remote.
Tell me I’m not alone in this. Tell me this is normal…and if you all agree this is fairly normal, I’ll make sure all the males in the family read the comments!
Ummmm… no hand sanitizer for me. Never use it. I’m a regular soap and water person. My bad. :hide:
I have a bottle at school. I use it after handling money but um, that’s about it. And that little emoticon Barb used is one I’ve never noticed before and terribly cute!
I don’t use hand sanitizer. But I do wash my hands constantly with anti-bacterial soap. Does that count? And I carry anti-bacterial wipes and use them EVERYWHERE. 😯
My teen age daughter often walks around with her cute little bottle of sanitizer in her hand offering to share with random people. She says it can’t hurt to be careful!
And……what IS normal?? :anyone:
I’m all about clean. I will frequently use hand sanitizer, even after having just washed my hands with anti-bacterial soap. Here at work, I’m usually the one cleaning the toilet handle, faucet handles and doorknobs in the restroom with Lysol. I do not believe in sharing germs and viruses with the general public. So either you’re normal or we’re BOTH weird.
I too have it in my purse, on my desk at work and near sinks.
It just makes sense with all the super germs out there to be as careful as possible.
In this day and age? Better safe than sorry, IMO.
Soap girl myself. I’m bad about hand sanitzer stuff. :hide: (oops! sorry!)
Why would you use hand sanitizer after washing your hands? Actually, and you’ll hate me for this, using anti-bacterial cleansers is actually bad for you in the long run. They ruin your immune system by killing good germs and making sure the bad germs mutate. Sorry.
We too have the hand sanitizer on the counter next to the sink, in the room next to the puppy kennel, in my purse, and in my office. I have heard the above (what Flea mentioned) and try to only use when unable to wash hands with water/soap.
I have the liquid gel in my kitchen and the wipes in my purse and office.
It is VERY normal. At least…I do it too! (And I have that same purse!) 🙂
