I did get some girlie moments amidst the testosterone surges this week. For instance…
The oldest Texas son brought his Southern Girl Girlfriend with him. We had painted toe nails for the 4th of July! Red and blue. (Notice my subtle ankle bracelet. Not sure why, but SuperGuy rolls his eyes when I decide it’s ankle bracelet wearing weather! But then, what do males know??)
I took The Southern Girlfriend shopping for her birthday. Yes, you heard me correctly. I. Went. Girl. Shopping. Oh my gosh, I had so much fun!! Skirts, dresses, tops pink and girly. Sigh. The. Best. Time.
Isn’t she just too cute?? She talks with this darling southern drawl and the boys keep making her say “Budlight” because she draws it out into this incredibly southern word like Bud-laaaaht. We adore her! Not to mention I can really get into having another female in the house for a week to combat all the maleness!
She is VERY cute!
and there is just something about a southern accent.
I had a guy from Mississippi in at work the other day and I kept making him talk to me just to hear that drawl. SO SO – man, what IS the word??? :wallbash:
but just Love it.
OH – and what IS the temp that determines ankle bracelet wearing weather?? 😕
I’m not sure of the EXACT temperature of ankle bracelet wearing…but I know it when I feel it! :coffee2:
Living in the South, I don’t get too excited about Southern accents. But British, Irish and Scottish? *swoon*
As cute as a bug in a rug…I know, corny!
Love the toes and anklet. Pale Rider doesn’t understand all this stuff either.
She’s cute as a bug, and so is he.
Our son in law is from Georgia, so we get plenty of nice southern drawl from him. Love the girlfriend – she is cute as heck!
She is very cute!! They make an adorable couple.
