It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see. ~Henry David Thoreau
Enough wallowing in empty nest self-pity…thanks for the cheerful thoughts yesterday. It’s all in how you look at things, isn’t it?
Life is like that. If all you see is a messy house and a broken off flower, you’re missing the good stuff. It’s all about what you really SEE when you’re looking. What you see in your home, your world, in your life, in the people you care about.
This weekend I’m going to look past the superficial “stuff” and see the beauty hidden behind it. Want to join me?
Watch for a big announcement on Monday. Not earthshaking, save-the-world big, but rather big in my world.

Amen. My kids just got home from a week away. And I think I may be ready for the college thing now;)
Hi Kacey, Sorry I’ve been mia here… i’ve just spent a half hour catching up. Love your new look, the photo contest was amazing, and yikes — Super Guy sure can barbecue chicken! Oh, and the wedding photos were beautiful.
I’ll have an empty nest this time next year, and I think I’m looking forward to it…
xoxo,
Mary
Mary, good to see you around again!
MPM…I’ll be here when both your kiddos leave for college…
I already know what it is, but, HEY, I’m playing catch-up here!
