How wonderful to have an expert reading the camera cards to you. I actually like pcmag.com when I'm looking at electronics.

On the bright side, at least he could read. :D

Hm, not a lot of experience with camcorders, out there, huh? So I went to Best Buy to talk to "an expert". He read the cards posted in front of each camera outloud to me. :mad2: Guess I'll be doing some more online research!

The problem with rapidly advancing technology is that, by the time someone has used a tech product long enough to feel comfortable recommending it to others, it has been taken off the market in favor of a newer, greater model with more bells and whistles. Although I like my Sony video camera a lot, it's quite outdated now. Wish I could help. Best of luck!

I don't have a lot to offer, but I did ask the gal at Best Buy about the Flip Video Cameras a while back when I was there and she told me it does about as good as the videos on the point and shoot cameras. At the time I was in the market for a good point and shoot to throw in my purse so the Flip didn't interest me, I just got a point and shoot with a decent video and called it good. Although now I'm wanting a better quality video camera, not sure I'm ready to spend the $$$ yet though :) Hope this helped. Let us know when you get one and what you get.
