I find this is so true. I do see more since I’ve taken photography back up. I see colors, shadows, patterns. I look at the landscape and compose a photo of it. Old barns call to me. A child skipping in a parking lot catches my eye, and quickly check the lighting. A flower sings its siren song until I give in and grab my camera. Sunsets stop me dead in my tracks and I bemoan the fact if I see a gorgeous one and don’t have my camera along to capture it. I’m all for anything that teaches me to be aware of the beauty around us.
