Remember how I told you last year about our ongoing stomp-your-feet argument discussion about the burning bushes in our front yard. SuperGuy keeps wanting to cut them back. Again. The last time was disastrous and I had to wait years and years for them to turn red again. (Yes, it WAS years and years SuperGuy, do not even TRY to say it was only ONE YEAR!) Anyway, I put down my foot again this year…no trimming!
They burned again this year! Now, I realize that they may get as tall as our house at this rate…but I don’t care! I love them in the fall when they turn this brilliant red.
Honestly, how can anyone resist this color?? Love this burning bush!
(note to self: Next time don’t be so lazy. Pull off the macro and put the wide angle lens on to take the full bush shot…yes, the macro wasn’t the best choice for the pullback shot…)
Anyway, I win, I win, I win. No trimming = beautiful burning bush. I was right, wasn’t I?
Yes yes yes – you are right!! Love burning bushes! Mine are about ten foot tall and Gorgeous!
We always carve pumpkins on the patio in front of them and I have the best fall pictures every year.
It’s gorgeous!
Of course you are right! What a gorgeous color. Love these bushes.
I have a burning bush, too. I do so prefer natural shapes to well-manicured ones. I’m glad you won this one. It’s beautiful!
Gorgeous! I love them too and won’t let the hubs anywhere near ours!
