I’m thankful that SuperGuy brings me flowers to photograph!
It’s finally here! Call for submissions for November Photo of the Month. This month theme is “I’m thankful for…” What you’re thankful for can’t be a person or a living thing like a pet. It doesn’t even need to be particularly serious…
I’m going to leave submissions open through Wednesday. (I know! I’m generous like that!)
I figure with the holidays and such, that we’ve all been busy. Besides, I have a crazy week this week, so it will give me a bit more time to get the post all up and put together. So leave a link to your photo here, or send me a link to your photo.
I’ll be back tomorrow with Thanksgiving stories. Oh, you know I always have holiday stories!!

Yes, things are starting to fall into place for Thanksgiving. I think I’m going to make it. I wasn’t sure after Monday’s post of the disaster I had on my hands.
I’m almost finished washing (and washing!) my grandmother’s set of antique Noritake dishes. Wow, that was a project.
Look! You can actually see the top of my dining room table. Only a few more dishes to wash.
Then, I’ll have to polish my silver. But I love and adore polishing silver. I know, I KNOW, I’m crazy that way!
Then all that is left?
My family to all come home and traipse in through my newly painted red front door!
I have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Here’s hoping you have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones. I’m going to be spending time with my family for the long weekend. I’ll see you back here on Monday. Have your “I’m thankful for….” photos ready for the photo of the month contest! I’ll call for submissions on Monday’s post!

So we got propane heater pole thingies (You know, those heaters you see in restaurants on the patios?) We got a couple of them for our backyard courtyard so we can use it into the fall. (without me freezing my rear end off…) We also got a fire pit…but that tortuous story is for another blog post…
We found them at Sam’s, and SuperGuy put them together. I do like them. Nice, shiny, stainless. We’ll use them near the aforementioned turkey frier if it’s cold on Thursday.
So I look outside a bit later and what do I see???
Seriously?? Asleep on the concrete driveway?? That must have been one exhausting chore, don’t you think??? :toofunny:
