Remember when we talked about The Geeky One and The Adorable Fiancée’s Christmas Tree? We wondered who would win the argument about what went on the top of the tree?
At first, The Adorable Fiancée thought she had it made. She got her way. Her pretty star won the top spot on the tree…
But my sneaky son slyly went back later and hung the Jack from Jack-in-the Box right up on the star. He said it was days and days before she noticed! 
Now their tree looks amazingly like our Christmas Tree!

Looks like a good compromise to me. We have a most unusual ‘tree’ this year. It’s actually lots of branches in the shape of a tree, on the wall of the fireplace. (Fireplace not usable). I know it sounds insane, and at first it looks a little silly but it was made with love. And it’s really grown on me. Lights, ornaments and all. There’s even some holly.
This makes the tree top so special. I hope it’s now a tradition. Love it!
