Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.
~Bill Morgan, Jr.
This sweet little deer was in my backyard looking for food. They are cute in the winter…not so much in the spring when they come up and eat all my tulips!! Have a great weekend my friends!

Yes… Hubby has choice words for them in the warmer months of the year. But, I guess they have to feed their babies somehow. They’re such beautiful creatures, aren’t they? It’s just that there’s soooo many of them!

You’ve been in a quiet mood lately. Lovely poem.
Try daffodils instead of tulips
Lovely. Last spring a tiny baby deer came to visit my garden, not much bigger than a large cat, still spotted. He stayed nearby for the day, then apparently mom came back to claim him. It is hard to find the balance between loving wildlife and living with the damage they do to the garden…
I love her fuzzy butt!!!!!
