Look who’s back!
My Indigo Bunting!! Isn’t he beautiful!
First I saw bits and flashes of blue. Then I saw him!
He hopped around on the top of the feeder in the rain. Last year they hung out on the thistle feeder, but this year they seem to like the big feeder.
Sigh, I know they only stay a few weeks each spring, but they are my favorite birds! I’m not sure how many we have this year, because I’ve only seen one at a time.

Beautiful! I had my first EVER scarlet tanager. Unfortunately he didn’t stay long enough to get a photo. But he was magnificent!

Last weekend, I had one in the tree in my front yard. I was SOOOOO excited. But, of course, as soon as I went outside, it flew up to the top of the tree and kept hiding behind leaves. So I didn’t get ANY photos :-(
