SuperGuy…I mean, someone, who shall remain nameless, didn’t do his chores before he left for his boys’ weekend!
The birds were not very happy with me this weekend. I’d do it myself, but it’s too tall for me to reach, and the ground is absolute mud under it after all our rain…so I thought hauling out a ladder and trying to balance it in the mud was not really where I wanted to go…
Luckily there was still thistle in the thistle feeders, so at least the finches are speaking to me!
…and why is it that it’s always the males that are the flashier, more vibrant in almost all species?? I don’t get it. I’d think it would be the opposite. Well, maybe it’s just that we women have a inner strength and presence and don’t need all that flashy stuff… maybe. I do love me a cute little black dress, heels and a bit of bling…
Oh, and as for the internet shopping while SuperGuy was away?? I figure if he notices anything, I’ll confess. Otherwise it’s fair game to keep my mouth shut… :coffee2:
It’s been one wet spring! And I say shop till you drop!!
I went internet shopping for myself at REI. I needed new hiking shoes and some Keen water shoes. So here’s the weird thing. I get home today and my husband tells me he went shopping at REI for me.
He got the very same shoes that I had bought. I called right away and canceled the two pairs of shoes in his cart for him, after he found out I had them on the way. So I got found out. Darnit!
