okay, not actually a report card..though it is the end of school here :shock:. ..but a progress report at least. I’ve written 206 new pages in the last 3 weeks. Completely marked up and revised 272 pages of same manuscript and input all the changes. I’ve never done this volumn of writing this quickly. My whole immersion writing theory. I am SO into this book :love: I’m quite proud of myself. See, I surprised myself. I can be disciplined, who knew??? :beer:
I’m ready to write the ending. You know that Fear of First Page thing I had going on awhile ago? Well, now I have fear of last chapter. 🙄 How to pull it all together. Tie up the lose strings. Make a satisfying ending.
And the bad thing?? I’m in my NO EXCUSES mode… :blah: Yes, I’ve heard them all, and I’m not allowing myself to use ANY excuse this time. So tomorrow I have to get over the fear of last chapter…and just write it. Maybe all of it if I can get into the flow.
Now I’m dreaming about how I’m going to reward myself for all my hard work… take a brief refill the well break and get back at it. Though, I’ll have that whole fear of first page thing to tackle again…

I’m the same way when I get toward the end of writing a book, it’s like my engine stutters and dies for a bit. 😉

I can’t believe how much you have done!!! That is amazing. You will be fine with the last chapter. I have the same problem, particularly the last sentence. Mine always ends up so cheesy.

so, on my no excuses mode..I figured out I needed to write another scene for earlier in the book. Wrote that. No exucses so I didn’t count that as my writing for the day, which I usually would have and started on the ending, but found out I have to go into work for a bit. grrrrrrrrr :angry: But at least I’ve conquered the fear of last chapter because I started it. Hope to finish it later today :typing:
