CrazyMakers

by Kay~Kacey on 4/6/2005

okay, so I’ve been thinking about crazymakers in my life. You know the ones. Everything is a BIG DEAL. They are always right and rant against anyone who disagrees with them. They think every little thing is a slight against them. Through the years I’ve slowly learned to stay away from these people. They get you riled up and throw out so much negative energy. They are not the kind of people who would be there in a pinch.

Crazymakers discount your reality. They are experts at the blame game. It’s always someone else’s fault. They are “misunderstood”. Self centered. Kind of like adult two year olds throwing their tantrums. 🙄

Julia Cameron, in The Artist’s Way talks about how crazy makers can suck your time and energy if you let them. I find that creative people seemed to have the tendency to surround themselves with crazy makers. I’m now making a conscious effort to avoid them. I can deal with flamboyant personalities. I kind of like them. But the genuine crazymakers??…

Join me in my “just say no to crazymakers” campaign.

I avoid crazymakers like pantyhose with three runs.

I divorced a crazymaker and after the kids turn 18 I hope I never have to talk to him again :biteme:
LOL ……I’ve known too many and the last few years I’ve weeded them out of my life.

They do drag you down, don’t they? Good luck on the weeding process!

I’m working on this very thing! No more crazymakers for me.

Now, why do you think creative people surround themselves with crazymakers? Maybe crazymakers are attracted to creative people because creative people can help solve the crazymakers’ problems or just are better at dealing with crazymakers? Just a thought. I only have one…at work.
