okay, seriously, I’m on a roll. I did 20 more pages today.
Okay, I have a teeny confession…I didn’t have to go to my pesky day job today. That makes finding time to write 20 pages a lot easier.
Now I’m getting to the middle where I start wondering if I have enough story. You know that feeling. It’s like have all these scenes in my head and know where I’m headed…but I’m not sure if Ican pull off the middle of the book. Sigh.
Part of this is Mary Schramski’s fault. She has a section on her website called favorites, and I read about Elizabeth Berg’s book
Escaping Into the Open. It’s a great motivational book. She talks about just turning off the editor and writing. Looking at the world through a writer’s eyes. I needed a motivational book about now. I’m reading a little bit of it each day.
WTG on those pages! Wow, that’s making tracks!
20 pages is fantastic!!! You rock!!!
I am so jealous of you. :cursing: I have to work all day and you get the day off to :typing:. Way to go!!
OMG! Congrats on those pages. Wow. I’m totally jealous!
20 pages!! Congrats. Keep on rolling:rofl:
I’m so glad you liked Berg’s book. After I read Escape I decided I would just take the reader’s hand and “show” him or her my story–let go and write as if I were talking to a friend. Good luck on your middle. Remember we all have the muddle of the middle.
How does anyone write 20 pages in a day anyway??? I need te secret handshake!
