Ah, yes. No house would be complete without a bird feeder! At least not a house of mine! It finally thawed enough for SuperGuy to dig a hole for the feeder post.
First step was finding out who he loaned the post hole digger to… I helped a lot with the digging stage. “A little more to the left. No, too far. Now come forward about a foot. No, not there!”
He got the post just the right height.
Then he rigged up the squirrel preventer thingie that slides onto the post to keep the squirrels away. Kind of.
And here we are…just waiting for some birds to find it…
Just add birds and camera and I’m all set to go.

Seriously.
This had better be the LAST time this “spring”…
…that I am able
to post photos
of birds in the snow!
I’m just sayin’
Stupid “dusting” of snow turned into 5″ of snow this past weekend. So over it. I hope my redbud still blooms…and my daffodils and other flowers survive. Not amused. Not amused at all. So. Over. Winter.
That is all.

I hate doing taxes. There I said it. So what did I decide was more important than working on taxes?? Bird photos of course.
It was a nice change from taking photos of the birds in the snow!
They all came out to play when it started to rain..
I swear that this guy knew I was taking his picture and was actually POSING for me.
Ah, spring. I can almost taste it… I will cover my ears and say la-la-la if anyone talks to me about snow and ice again. I’m just sayin’
