kiss your babies

by Kay~Kacey on 3/24/2005

we interrupt this revision session to bring you an important service announcement. Kiss your babies. This brought to you by a mom who just had her #1 child in a nasty car accident. But they all walked away from it. Okay, my child left it in an ambulance, but said child is soundly asleep on my couch under the influence of powerful pain meds.

So tell me why we let our children grow up and drive?? And why do they have accidents 3 hours from home? Do you KNOW what it’s like to drive a 3 hours not sure what condition you’re going to find your child in?

And why do males always thing they can drive fast and live through it? On back country roads no less. How does the male species survive past 21?? No, mine wasn’t the driver…but he wasn’t telling the driver to slow down either… The good news is they were all wearing their seatbelts. Is there a patting on the back smilie? I felt like I did one thing right as a mom.

He did say he was no longer going to call shot gun. He wants the bitch seat. (for the non informed people ..me…that’s the middle of back seat)

Color me exhausted. But I can’t quit hugging my kids today. I’m lucky. Kiss your babies.

Kissing the babies and sending a hug to moms everywhere. There’s no worse fear than not knowing what’s happened to your kid. 😥

:beer::bath:
Have a beer and a hot bath – you deserve it. How scary IS that??? I’m so glad all of them are okay. ❗

I keep telling my children they are NEVER driving. Never. Not dating either. Not growing up. I’m not sure how I’m stopping all of this from happening….

Hugs, Kacey. Didn’t they tell you males are invincible? At least until they’re 30? We’ve been through two totalled motorcycles and a motorcycle accident where one was a passenger.

Suzanne, you can try, but it doesn’t work 🙁

Hugs, Kacey!!! I’m glad your number one son (Ack! I’m channeling Charlie Chan!) is okay. That must have been really scary!!!

(((((((kacey and son))))) how scary! I’m glad everyone’s okay! I’ve been in a couple near misses myself so I’m a fanatic about seatbelts.

I tried to come by here yesterday but couldn’t post for some reason! I just wanted to send hugs and a note that I’m so glad everything came out okay, shesh!
