Wow, you know it sucks to have to slam back into the real world after a few days off :mad2:
Well, this week is the end of my refill the well writing break :secret: even though I snuck in some writing and brainstorming at the lake…we won’t count that … Next week it’s that whole fear of first page ™ thing that I have. But this time I’m excited about starting something new! Not to mention I brainstormed it out, so I have some idea of where I’m going. Always a nice thing in a story
This story I’m targetting for the NEXT line at H/S. I have to keep beating myself to stop it from warping into a girl meets boy/ HEA thing. But this is really the heroines story, so I’m hoping it will work.
Then I’ll follow my normal process. Get an idea. Find out the major plot points. Write 3 chapters. Write the synopsis. Then rewrite the 3 chapters yet again… My first shot at the 3 chapters usually grounds me in the characters…and once I know them, I have to rewrite the chapters to better fit the characters. :crazy2: Oh well, it’s a process that works for me, so I’m sticking to it.
Good luck with the new story!
New stories are always cool. Good luck, Kacey! 😀
Good luck with the new story, Kacey!!!
Good luck with all that. Oh, the life of a writer!:mad2:
Um, your process is frighteningly like my own. But I seem to take about a month to even get the idea to start the 3 chapters. Good luck with it!
Good Luck with the story!! Your process sounds like a good one.
Kacey!
Yay! Get to getting on that story! Sounds great!

Oh, I love starting new projects. Your process is so organized. I cannot write a decent synopsis until the book is done. I have no idea how the book is going to end until I get there.
Oh – the NEXT line sounds like a great one to break into – good luck with the first 3 chapters! Write them the way you need to & your muse will be good to you.:typing:
Yay! New stories are fun!!! You can beat that first page!
Ooh, a new story! What fun! I love a blank first page. It’s so full of possibilities.
