It might as well be me!
It was an exhausting week. I took long, long hikes…all the way to the pool. Where I sat in the sun and contemplated water aerobics. Well, not really. I sat and read. 3 books.
I lifted a lot of beer WEIGHTS this week too. A lot of them. A whole lot of them.
And tennis? What can I say about all the tennis I played? Well, I can say the view is gorgeous. What I can’t say is that I played any tennis. I don’t play tennis. My dad is 82 and plays tennis.
So after all that vigorous activity, I sat and enjoyed the view. And lifted a few more “weights”.
See you back in the real world. Unless it snows and they cancel my flight…
The mountains there look so cool. Like mountains on Mars….
Don’t rub it in! By the way, is that a timeshare resort, and if so, which one? I have owned a timeshare for 22 years, and this place looks like one to which I’d like to exchange.
Sigh. We returned from Cabo last night/this morning. I was not ready to come home. :cool2:
I’ve been to Palm Desert. It was a few years ago, the end of May. One day it was 120 degrees. But I loved it. The hotel where we stayed was on a golf course. Occasionally you would hear this loud noise and find that a golf ball had landed on your awning or that of your neighbor. We were there for a week and came home with 3 golf balls.
It was a great place. Sounds like you had fun.
I miss the desert in the worst way. I remember running around in 115+ temps and not being in the least bothered by it. Here, I wilt when it’s in the upper 80s. I so do not do humidity well.
Welcome home, by the way. Just in time for this lovely weather :cursing: we’re having.
Looks like an amazing place to visit! I like your weight lifting with a twist of lime.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Wonderful, warm scenes. Thanks. And have a good flight home.
You are making me so jealous! Oh, love those views!
Warm . . . it looks so warm. And green. I miss green grass.
That looks divine.
GOOD FOR YOU!
Oh man – I should not have looked at this post!
