First off, I never win anything.
So imagine my surprise when I WON in a Blogher Ad contest. The contest was sponsored by Hakia I won a 3 day conference fee pass to the Blogher Conference in San Fransisco next month! (I need a happy dance smilie, don’t I?) It just so happens that SuperGuy was already off of work that Thursday/Friday. So he’s going to take off Wednesday too, and off we go. We’re trying to work flights out on frequent flier mile tickets too.
Wow, 3 days of being surrounded by bloggers!! What fun! I can’t WAIT. We’re going a few days early to sightsee. I haven’t been to San Fransisco since I was in 8th grade. Let’s just say that’s a LONG time ago!! SuperGuy hasn’t been in 20 years. So we’re really looking forward to the trip.
Wait, what is Hakia, you say? Well, it’s a new search engine. Clean, sleek, fast. Here, go check it out. Okay, I admit, I’m a little upset my blog doesn’t come up first when you put in wine on the keyboard, but I’ll adjust 😉 I’m sure it has something to do from moving from a subdomain on another site, to a new server with wineonthekeyboard as the primary domain. So, yes, we’re headed out on another “road trip”. Yes, I’ll be blogging the trip and the conference. You’d expect anything less of me? Any of you going to the conference?

Since you’ll be out here in San Francisco, you must do the winery thing. Just about any place along the coast is full of wineries. The central coast is really going strong now; but Napa is so close to San Francisco. This will be a fun road trip to follow. Thanks for the enjoyment.
