Ever have one of those blog posts? You know the ones. The ones that just won’t allow themselves to be written. You sit down and start writing a post, hate it, start on another one, hate it….repeat. Well, this is one of those.
I was going to regale you with stories of the fence building…but it got dark on the THIRD day of putting it up and I couldn’t get finished photos. I tried playing around with textures on some photos. Wasn’t working. I thought of doing some black and white photos…you know, because this month’s photo of the month theme is black and white. No luck there either.
So I’ll leave you with a photo of the puppy. The Oldest Texas Son’s puppy. A weimaraner. (which I have to look up how to spell it each time, AND Apple spelling does not believe I’m spelling it correctly…)
For the record? I can’t say the breed name without some serious thinking going on in my head either. Also for the record? I Googled the puppy’s name because I wasn’t 100% sure what it meant. I was sure it was slang for something. Well, let’s just say I’m not telling you this puppy’s name. :crazy:

My oldest son had a weimaraner. She was extremely obedient. We sure miss that dog.
And thank goodness her previous owner named her Heidi.
Aw, look at that puppy, so cute. I love puppy breath. I have a weimaraner. She is a wonderful dog. I love the breed and her personality. I have posted pictures of her on my blog, some. She’s really funny, she sits on the back of my labrador retriever, he lets her. It’s pretty funny looking.

Yeah, I know those kiind of posts. And how nothing works with the pics you’re trying to process. I know how that feels.
On the other hand, the only interaction I’ve ever had with a weimaraner was when I was about 20 years old. We’d just moved to the country (my boyfriend (husband) and I) and were being taken to the rental we eventually spent several years in. A dog was coming towards us and it had a dead fawn in its mouth and it FREAKED me the hell out. It was a weimaraner. Since then, I’ve had what you could call an aversion to them. Sorry about that.
This one looks pretty cute, though. But then most babies do . . .
