You remember when you guys encouraged me? You told me it’s never too late to start a new career. Even in my forties okay, okay, my fifties. Well, I finally got my photography business up and running. I’m doing portrait photography and I hope to sell fine art prints as well. I have a few more things to sort out. I’m working on building my online portfolio now. I’ve started up a business website. Kay Pickens Photography. Go ahead, hop on over. I’ll wait…
Okay, you back? Notice how I tied in the colors of the two websites, and used some of the same fonts, etc. It was a huge learning curve. Flash headers, setting up php galleries for my clients. The site isn’t all finished. I still need to add to the galleries and polish up the About Me page. Oh, I’m sure there is lots more. This setting up a business and learning more and more about photography is an overwhelming, frustrating, fun, exciting thing.
Let me know what you think of the new site and if something doesn’t work right for you. Thanks for all the encouragement along the way.
I also have a Facebook Page for my business if you want to fan me over on Facebook. I love having “fans”. :clap:
It tickles me that Facebook calls followers of business pages fans. Yes, I’m easily amused.
