All the babies made it home for Christmas this year. The first night they were all here we decorated the Christmas tree. Mind you, we didn’t start until 11pm when the last one finally wandered in…
The boys all clustered around the tree, making the decorating job into a big competition. I’ve mentioned that everything is a competition with these boys, right? 🙄
The girls stood back (stayed out of the way…) and laughed at enjoyed watching the boys decorate.
One son…who shall remain nameless…OLDEST TEXAS SON… tried to see how many ornaments he could hang on one branch… :mad2:
There was a plenty of a bit of teasing going on about some of the boys handmade ornaments from preschool/grade school days.
There was a bit of sadness over broken ornaments from The Photography One’s childhood. :frown:
Thanks goodness for tall sons who can put the star on the tree. Okay, I confess…he’s actually putting the Jack from Jack-in-the-box up here.
Here it is, in all its glory!
We might now have the fanciest tree, but I love it!
The boys then proceeded to keep me up until 2 in the morning! (which is, you know, about 4 hours past my bedtime!)
Tomorrow I’m going to post some of my favorite photos of 2009 from my blog posts. Then on Wednesday it’s the BIG DAY! I’m putting up the winning photos from each Photo of the Month from 2009 and you’ll get to vote for the Photo of the Year 2009! Yes, an exciting week around Wine on the Keyboard!
Fun times! Those are some pretty female additions to the handsome group!
I love it! That sad face is priceless. 🙂 And the cow pouff is to die for!

I think your tree looks fabulous!!!
Love the Photography One’s pouty face pic.
I think your tree is adorable. Love the cow poof, never seen anything quite like that on a tree before.
