One thing life has taught me: if you are interested, you never have to look for new interests. They come to you! When you are genuinely interested in one thing, it will always lead to something else. ~~Eleanor Roosevelt.

It’s strange how life leads us in new directions. I started writing a novel, and discovered the online world of bulletin boards (back in DOS days. GEnie online service) then email lists. From my writing I made great friends. Quite a few of us started blogging about our writing. Which led me to learning html, php, WordPress, web design. Which, eventually led me to expand my blog to writing about my life. Which led me to wanting to learn more about photography to put more pictures on my blog. I hadn’t shot much since college days. I moved to a DSLR camera. (best thing to ever happen to photography!)

The quote by Eleanor Roosevelt is so true. If you get interested in something, it leads to something else, and something else. I think I’ll never stop learning about new things. I love learning new things.

Do you have one of those trails of interests that led you to blogging? Or Photography? Or writing? Or something else? Want to share with us?

(Last chance to vote for March Photo of the Month. I’m going to close down voting on Sunday.)

Life in Focus-Hidden

Life has its own hidden forces which you can only discover by living.
Soren Kierkegaard

(There is a hidden, I spy picture in the reflecting ball. Did you see it? I’m kind of into hidden pictures in a picture. There is another one in yesterday’s post here, fourth picture down. In the Wheel picture..)
