So, why is it that I’m on such a roll with my writing? I’ve written 164 pages in 15 days. And one of those was a no writing pout day for my double rejections. Why am I accepting no excuses these days? How had I gotten into the habit of letting so much take precedence over my writing?
It sure isn’t any easier this time around to carve out the time. The words aren’t coming easier. I still have to force my butt into the chair, and force myself to write even more. But what spooks me out…is that I’m actually keeping at it this time. When I think of a reason I can’t write…I just slap myself and tell myself I’ve heard it before :blah: then I sit down and write. :typing: It’s also weird how I’m so connected to this story because I have my head so into it. For pages and pages each day. I’d have to say my comfortable breaking point for writing is about 6 pages a day. I’m pushing past my comfort zone everyday.
I was talking to my CP’s about this story too. I usually have BIG GMC. Here it is. Here it is again. Here, let me :mad2: this again. But this story is more slice of life. It still has the goal, motivation, conflict…but it’s more gmc than GMC. It’s like what happens to these two families in the week where all these secrets are revealed and how they deal with it. Different than I’ve written before. We’ll have to see how well it’s received …
Wooohooo! If you figure out the secret, send it my way. 🙂
Sounds like you’ve just hit on the right story right now, and your motivation is sky high!
Dont question it!!! Just go with it!!

“Go Kacey. Go Kacey. Go Kacey.”
Wow, you are on fire! WTG! I wish I could lay claim to this much writing. I’ve been doing a lot of plotting and no actual writing lately.
That is AWESOME, Kacey. I am in such awe of you. Keep up the great work!! You’re gonna SELL, SELL, SELL, honey!
That’s awesome, Kacey!!!! If writing doesn’t pan out, you could bottle some of that discipline and sell it. :useyourhead: You’d make a fortune, and I’d be first in line. I have NONE!
I bet this is your best book ever because you’re so into it!!!
Rock on! Hmmm I need Michelle’s head banging icon over here 🙂
I’ve found when I’m on a roll like that it’s because I have the plot and characters right. Trust thyself! Maybe Berg helped a little too.:book:
Wow, Kacey that is great. So happy things are going so well for you on the writing front.
Yay on your writing roll!:typing: Am going to hang around your blog for a while hoping it will rub off…:book:
