I printed out my story single spaced for the read through. It is bugging me though. :wallbash: I’m about 50 pages into the read through (or would that be 100 pages since it’s single spaced… :crazy2: ) and I’ve STILL found a few typos!! An it’s for an its. A missing comma. Blah, blah, blah :blah: I mean, get real. I’ve gone over this story again and again!
I’m hoping to get it mailed out this week. Or next Monday at the latest. Though I hate mailing things during the whole Christmas mailing rush thing…
Anyway, Suzanne Mcminn has a great blog article today about things that make you happy. Fun to read through the comments. It’s (notice I used the correct it’s/its) always nice to reflect on the good things in our lives!
I think those typos get put in my gremlins when you aren’t looking.
Er, that should be “BY gremlins”. One obviously did that when my back was turned!
LOL, okay, I’ll go with your gremlins theory Tori! I’d hate to think it was just me…
I hate typos! And most of all, I hate it when I’ve looked at it six gazillion times and they’re STILL there!
I feel your pain. Today, when I was reading through my final edits, I found a typo — and it wasn’t in the new stuff.
I was going to blog about this, maybe I still will! I miss typos all the time. ugh!
I seem to use their, there & they’re interchangeably. And I can always tell when I’ve been writing on a couple of glasses of wine. Not so many typos but lots of missed words.
I can’t read stuff single spaced. I get cross-eyed.
So have you mailed it yet? Huh, huh, have you? :mad2:
