Yep, it’s too hot to even think about writing a blog post. This was in the MORNING. Heat index of like 110. So, first we had months of rain, now we’re having this kind of heat. Where is the lovely late spring, early summer mild weather???
So, what’s happening, weatherwise, in your neck of the wood??
Now that I’m home from the trip, it’s beautiful here in Maryland. We’re in for some heat later in the week but right now it’s about 70 in the am with a lovely breeze. Maybe get up to 85 or so.
San Diego has the most glorious late spring/early summer fondly called MayGray and JuneGloom. Our mornings are foggy and cool giving way to mild, slightly breeze and sunny afternoons. I love the fog! It might reach 72°. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
Misery loves company. We hit 101 yesterday…same prediction for today. No rain in sight. I am soooo looking forward to October. That is my new mantra.
Kate: are you accepting house guests, for lets just say, the rest of the summer?
And Gayle: please enjoy the weather in San Diego for the rest of us.
It’s the same here. Weeks of rain. Now no rain in sight and heat index over 100.
It’s either feast or famine.
Summer came in here with boomers and rain! Now, heat, heat and more heat – with the added bonus of humidity!
Garden is looking good though.
Gotta love summer….
OK, where is “here” for you? Not sure I’ve ever noticed your location in your blog. Here in the Dallas area, we’re hitting 100 and the air polution index is red. I can stand the heat, but this tickle in my throat from the poor air quality is too much to take!
Hot and humid. I hate hate hate it!
I vote we all go stay with Gayle this summer! 😀
Wow, is it nearly 100 there? ack! I think it’s hot and it’s in the 80s here.
Freexing here – am in Rotorua, New Zealand for a trip and it was frosty at 9pm – icy footpaths… will get a sunny day but cold – Quite like the thought of a heat wave!!!
Weeks of rain and 50 degrees here in N. Illinois, now 95 with 4000% humidity
So….heat is now what we have to look forward to here on the East Coast???
I don’t LIKE that!
Only the second or third day in June without rain, and it’s in the 80’s, which might sound cool to you but feels really hot to me.
Yes, I know. Bitch, bitch, bitch.
