I’m writing this at 2:45 am on Monday morning… A bit over exhausted and I just couldn’t sleep. I haven’t even finished downloading all the photos from the cards to the computer…but I thought I’d show you just a quick few. The wedding was awesome. So glad to have another female in the family! A quick storm blew through right before the wedding and dropped the temperature from 96 to 74!! Such a relief! Perfect weather. Few tiny raindrops during the ceremony…isn’t that supposed to be lucky??
We had a great time. They had dueling pianos which were fantastic! Hit of the reception. After the reception, everyone went back to the nearby hotel where most of us were staying…and stayed up partying in the courtyard. I think SuperGuy and I finally called it quits about 3am, but a lot of the kids saw the sunrise.
First, the happy couple! Isn’t her dress gorgeous?
Oh, and of course, you knew there would be one…a pointing picture!
I will get more photos up this week and post some larger ones over on my photo blog.
But, for now, I think I’ll try that sleep thing again.
Yes, every year we dye easter eggs…then shoot them out into the woods with a sling shot. A bit untraditional, but we’ve never claimed to be the traditional family anyway, now have we??
Our target this year. (our targets have ranged from blue easter bunnies, to sponge bob square pants to…well, whatever we find that year. This year it was a hanging monkey!)
It’s fierce competition on who can hit the target more often…or harder…or whatever competitive thing they come up with…
Well, yes, everyone participates!!
Of course there was a pointing picture!!
Ah, much laughter
much joking
A bit of side entertainment…
Then, sadly, it all comes to an end for another year…

tuppence a bag…(Name that song. Oh, never mind, I’ll tell you. It’s Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins. It’s a sad fact of life that I know all the words to it too…)
Anyway…I woke up to this bird giving me the eye. Seems they were out of bird seed.
SuperGuy to the rescue!
Okay, so I had to ask him nicely to please go out and feed the poor birdies. The bird feeder is too high up for me to fill it without a ladder. (okay, and it was COLD!)
Okay, so really I had to nag him ask him for 2 days.
Soon the branches were filled with my friends.
Everyone was happy and sated. (I love the word sated…)
As a bonus I got a pointing photo out of it… 🙄
